An East Renfrewshire street is to close for seven weeks while resurfacing works on the road and pavement are carried out.
Lomondside Avenue in Clarkston will be shut from Tuesday, May 7 to Friday, June 28, however, the closure will only be in force between the contractor’s working hours of 9am and 4pm.
There will also be no weekend working during the works.
All vehicles except those associated with the works or emergency vehicles attending an incident will be subject to the restriction.
The alternative route in place will be: Woodside Gardens – Campsie Gardens – Cathkin Drive and vice versa.
