Arthurlie will be aiming to bounce back against Glenafton Athletic on Wednesday night after suffering defeat against another Ayrshire team at the weekend.

The Barrhead men were winning 2-1 at Irvine Meadow on Saturday but ended up on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline.

Stuart Fyfe had put the home side ahead in the opening quarter of an hour before quickfire goals from Mo Sugafara and Conor Bolger swung the game in Arthurlie’s favour.

Medda responded in the second half with a couple of Innes Lambert goals within 60 seconds and, after that, the visitors were unable to find an equaliser.

The result left Colin Reilly’s men in seventh place in the Premier Division of the West of Scotland Football League, with two wins and two losses from their first four games.

Arthurlie will hope to keep their perfect home record intact by winning Wednesday's clash with Glenafton, which starts at 7pm.

They will then make another trip to Ayrshire this Saturday for a match against Largs Thistle, with kick-off at 2pm.
