Neilston boss Kevin Muirhead believes that results for his side aren’t far away as he continues to welcome players back from injury.

The Farmer’s Boys were down to the bare bones at the start of the season with the clubs development team helping fill the bench but his first-teamers are starting to make their returns.

It’s been a difficult start to the season with just one win from six for the Brig O’Lea side and Muirhead insists he is always on the lookout for new signings.

He told Barrhead Sport: “You’re never the complete product and even if you spoke to Chris Strain at Beith then he would say he still wants to add to his squad as well.

“Last Saturday was the first time I’ve had to leave players even off the bench. 3 players travelled down and didn’t get on the bench which was disappointing for them but it shows we are starting to get our numbers back up.

“I think we’re doing okay and it’s just a matter of time before we click.”

Neilston host Renfrew on Saturday. Kick-off is at 2.00pm.
